My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Petey!

Petey came from Chicago Animal Care and Control with his brother, Liam. Initially the more confident of the two brother, they have both really come out of their shells. Less of a foodie than his brother, Petey really enjoys a good snuggle and is more likely to sit in your lap.

He and his brother really enjoy the company of people. They will play around or with you one moment and then stop for a quick cuddle with non-top purring coming from both of them.

They've been in a foster home around small children for a couple of weeks, and they are back at Heartland and ready to find a more long term home. Come see them in action!

Petey is neutered and up-to-date on his FVRCP vaccinations.

Petey is currently staying onsite at our Heartland Facility! Stop by during our open hours on Thursday 4pm-7pm, Friday 4pm-7pm, Saturday Noon-6pm or Sunday Noon-6pm to meet him! No appointment necessary.
