Mercury is currently in foster care and just beginning his journey into all things puppy.
He’s curious, learning about the world, and soaking up new experiences every day.
His foster family reports:
“ He does great with our dog and with people, including kids, and is easy to redirect even while teething. He’s pee-pad trained, responds to “go potty,” knows sit, down, and stay, and is already learning more thanks to being very food-motivated and a quick learner. He free roams well with supervision and sleeps nicely in his crate as long as someone is nearby.”
He will need continued house training, leash training, and crate training, along with ongoing positive socialization to help him grow into a confident adult. He’ll require daily exercise, structure, and mental enrichment, with increasing activity as he matures.
Adopters should be ready for the time, patience, and lifelong commitment that come with raising a puppy. In return, you’ll get the chance to shape a wonderful companion from the very beginning.
Mom Sunny is shown for reference and is available to adopt.

Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog! Whether you adopt from Rocket Dog or another rescue group, the fact is you will save a life. Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! The first step in our adoption process is completing an adoption questionnaire here: https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/
From there, you will be contacted by a volunteer to talk more about what you're looking for and if the dog you're interested in might be a good fit.
