Their adoption process
For those with pets already in the home, we offer a foster-to-adopt option where you may foster the cat or kitten(s) of your choice to make sure they fit well in your home before finalizing their adoption. Please also note that we have a two kitten policy- if you DO NOT have a young cat or kitten in the home already and want to adopt a young kitten (under 1 year), we require that you adopt two kittens. If you already have a cat in the home, you may adopt just one young kitten. If you do not have a cat in the home but can only have one cat, you may adopt one cat older than 1 year of age.

- You can either meet a cat in foster or come to our cat lounge at our facility to meet 12 of our adoptable cats.

Go meet their pets
While we are mostly foster-based, 12 of our adoptable panthers are always residing in the cat lounge at House of Black Cat Magic (841 Haywood Rd. Asheville, NC 28806). Entry into the cat lounge is $7 for 30 minutes but FREE for pre-approved adopters. We also hold monthly kitten adoption events that are announced on social media and our website.
