From his caretaker: We caught him approx 4 years ago when we moved in to our house. He appeared out behind our house and so we began feeding and befriending. Then we trapped him and got him vetted and here he is. Super vocal. Always trying to sneak back outside. Very affectionate, reaches up to grab your had for pets!! I think he would prefer to be an only cat. He gets along well with others, but pouts when he has to share attention.
All of our adoptable pets have their age appropriate vaccines, dewormer, feline leukemia and fiv test, spay or neuter surgery and a microchip.
We have no public facility, but operate with a network of dedicated foster parents and volunteers. To respect the privacy of our foster parents we do require an approved application to visit any of our fostered animals.

Our process is in place to assure the best possible home for the pet. The process can take anywhere from 1 to 10 days or more, with the average time being 2-3 days. We require an application that will be screened for home ownership, criminal record, vet references, and personal references. We may have an in-person interview as well as a home visit.
If approved, there is a legally binding adoption agreement to be signed as well as an adoption fee to be paid. We receive zero funding from any agency, and rely 100% on donations and fees to continue our mission. You can see current adoption fees here: https://passportanimalrescue.org/how-to-adopt/

With over 15 years of rescue experience, the Directors of PAR strive to help the homeless and needy animals in Baltimore and the surrounding areas find the loving homes they deserve.
