My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Piper!

Piper (also affectionately called Piper-oni) is an 8-year old, 17 lb. Pure breed miniature schnauzer. She was found in a sad puppy mill situation and has had a pretty tough life so far. Despite that, she is a warm, lovable dog with soulful eyes and affectionate nature, once she becomes comfortable with you. She simply loves to be petted and held. She doesn't really understand toys and playing yet. She has just recently started taking dog treats. Her foster mom is trying to teach how to be a dog, and her foster canine brother is helping also!

She recently had a spa day and looks beautiful! She gets along with other dogs and has quickly bonded with her foster mom's dog, Bo.

She is crate trained and making great progress on housebreaking in the past 2 weeks. She would do best in a quiet, peaceful home environment, with another calm dog, where she can be spoiled and loved all day on a comfy bed or couch, rather than a crate where she unfortunately spent most of her life.

She so deserves the life of a princess! Apply now to adopt this sweet girl.
