If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Meet Cooper! Cooper is a four-year-old, neutered Red Australian Shepherd who is searching for his furever home. He was raised on a farm, where he spent his days gathering cows and riding alongside his owner in the combine.
Sadly, Cooper recently lost his owner, turning his world upside down. Despite this, he remains a loving, intelligent, and devoted companion. He is very treat-motivated and Aussie smart, making him eager to learn and bond with his person.
Cooper would be happiest in a rural or farm setting and prefers to be the only dog. He will tolerate some cats and is gentle with older children and adults alike. Loyal and well-mannered indoors, Cooper truly believes he’s a lap dog! He does not chew, is fully house-broken, and has the typical Aussie personality—so an experienced Australian Shepherd owner would be the best fit.
300.00 rehoming fee (will donate to an Aussie Rescue), personal reference and vet reference required.
