Their adoption process

We will then have the interested applicant fill out a adoption application questionnaire to learn more about their current situation. Crestwood Animal Shelter has the right to deny any application for any reason.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
Please submit an online application: https://tinyurl.com/86n482sp for cats then we can follow up with you
  2. Interview
We interview applicants for the best fit/match for them with our animals. An appointment can then be made to meet animal(s). No walk-ins.
  3. Approve Application
  4. Sign Adoption Contract
  5. Pay Fee
  6. Take the Pet Home

Go meet their pets

We are by appointment only. No walk-ins.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application for cat adoption at http://www.crestwoodanimalshelter.com.

Once your application has been received we can arrange for you to meet the dog or cat you are interested in. Please call/text us to set up a time to meet our animals after you have filled out our online application.

For donated items including cat/kitten food, crates/carriers, supplies, toys, treats, cleaning supplies, bedding etc:

We are located in Whitecliff Park. Take main road up hill and on the right, just past wooded area, take this service road where you see "pet adoptions" sign to shelter (you will see the banners of cats on our building).

Drop off donations in our secure outside weatherproof bin for our volunteers to bring into the shelter (please no sheets, pillows or litter boxes).

More about this shelter

Crestwood Animal Shelter is an all-volunteer non-profit cat animal shelter operating out of the shared Park Department building in Whitecliff Park in Crestwood Missouri. We help the community with displaced cats needing a home through no fault of their own.

Mission statement:
Animals Are Our Mission. Our mission is to enrich the lives of both animals and people throughout our community.

Our animal shelter is non-profit, 100% volunteer run, no-kill animal rescue organization serving Crestwood Missouri and the surrounding areas.

We take our convictions and turn them into action, promoting spay and neutering to end suffering of overpopulation and unwanted animals.
