Nala's Story

Introducing Nala – A Courageous and Affectionate Girl

Nala was rescued from a heartbreaking situation alongside her mother and siblings, and she is now seeking a patient, experienced adopter to support her healing and growth journey. Her enthusiasm for life makes everyone around her feel cherished. When she’s not racing around in the yard, she loves to cuddle up next to you on the couch.

At 2 years old, Nala has spent nearly a year at Almost Home and has recently transitioned to a foster home with her brother, Blue. She is progressing well with housebreaking and obedience training, is crate trained, and sleeps soundly through the night in her crate. Nala enjoys playing with Blue, chewing on bones, and snuggling on the couch. While she can be timid around new experiences, people, and sounds—especially her nemesis, the vacuum—she will warm up to you given time. Once you earn her trust, she will be a devoted companion for life.

What Nala Needs:

• A calm, stable home where she can feel secure and relaxed

• An adopter dedicated to positive reinforcement training

• A home without children

• A fenced-in yard (6 feet or taller)

Nala is full of potential and deserves a second chance with someone who understands that love, patience, and consistency are essential for her to thrive.
