My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bianca Nieve, a soft, snowy sweetheart who is ready to be someone’s constant companion. Bianca is friendly, affectionate, and very people oriented. Bianca not only enjoys attention, she asks for it. Expect her to run over for pats, give gentle boops, and melt into place when you rub her head between her eyes and ears.
She has a wonderfully mellow vibe and is not bothered by household noise. Vacuums, sirens, and TV sounds do not faze her at all. She shows her happiness with binkies when you are in the room and rewards affection with the soft tooth purr that bunny lovers adore.
Her fur is incredibly soft and made for endless pats, and her foster swears she smells like a baby. Bianca loves enrichment. She happily chews cardboard and paper, rolls balls around, and digs in blankets. One of her favorite games is scavenging for dried flowers hidden in soft piles.
She has excellent litter habits and has not had a single accident. She eats plenty of hay, drinks well, and enjoys herbs like cilantro, parsley, and mint, along with kale and broccoli stems. Her routine is simple and polite — pellets in the morning, vegetables in the evening, and playtime later in the day.
This sweet girl truly thrives on attention and companionship. She will be happiest with someone who is home often and willing to share space, ideally a work from home setup where she can be nearby and soak up love throughout the day. Bianca Nieve is a devoted, affectionate bunny who wants nothing more than to be close to her person and receive all the pats she can get.

Bianca Nieve is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (vaccine needs to be administered annually). House Rabbit Society recommends all rabbits see a rabbit-savvy veterinarian once a year.

More about this rescue

Since 1988, House Rabbit Society, its supporters, small staff, local chapters, licensed educators, and other volunteers around the globe have been advocating for the care and well-being of rabbits.

Our goal is to help people see rabbits as intelligent and social pets who thrive indoors. HRS’ mission, philosophy, and policies have influenced the formation of many other nonprofit rabbit rescue groups and set a standard for the treatment and respect of domesticated rabbits. As a nonprofit, we rely on membership support and other donations–large and small. HRS financial documents are provided below, which record our programmatic efforts over the past decade.
