Bagel was rescued from the streets of Houston Texas by a Good Samaritan with his siblings, and is loving his new life, safe and sound in a loving home! Bagel was a nervous little guy at first, but within a week he has blossomed into a sweet and gentle baby.
He loves to play with his foster siblings, lounge on the sofa with his foster mom, and (of course) find kitten mischief wherever he can! One of his favorite winter hobbies is inspecting the Christmas tree. He's a very gentle floof and doesn't cause any damage, but Bagel loves to paw at the tree and make his best attempt to climb up the middle.
This little man is fairly new to our program so we are still learning more about him every day. What we know now is that he is your typical happy-go-lucky kitten!! He loves to play with wand toys, wrestle, run around the house, and crash out on a warm lap. We also know that he reluctantly let us dress him up in a Grinch costume, and we hope you like that photo! Plus.. just look at his little face. With a face like that, he could be a total Grinch and STILL be perfect ;-)

Bagel thrives with kitty companionship and would thrive if adopted with one of his kitten friends or into a home with a resident cat or kitten. He has never met a dog, but with proper introductions we think he would do great with a calm, cat-savvy dog.
Bagel was born in September 2024, is neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy, all he needs now is a forever home for the holidays.
Bagel is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes.

"ROSES Rescues" is an offshoot of this mission that helps the strays, rescue transfers, and owner surrenders that our volunteers and partners encounter and need help matching with forever homes.
We are located in Houston, Texas and are a FULLY foster-based rescue with no physical shelter location. We proudly transport our kitties to wonderful adopters in the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, Colorado, and locations along those routes, so please feel free to check out our pets and see if we have a transport spot close to you!
