Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I rescued Zeus from the Columbia animal shelter 5 years ago. He was very skittish, skinny, and didn't trust anyone. From day one, he was completely house trained. He had never had an accident in the house and has never chewed anything or been distructive. He is the most loyal friend and companion, choosing to rarely leave my side. He is everything I've ever wanted in a man's best friend.
Zeus just HATES the vet! I truly believe the vet, with all the same sounds, smells, and feels of a shelter, cause an imence amount of anxiety for him. He shows his anxiety with a tucked tail and crouched approach. I can touch Zeus anywhere, ears, eyes, mouth, face, and I can rub Zeus's belly or pull his tail. The nail cutting experience has changed my comfort level around Zeus. All combos of meds have been tried (gabatraz/Ace promazine) and now he can't even get his yearly vaccinations. He's an amazing dog at home. He can't go to the vet. It brings back all trama for him. Please help him! He's my ❤️
