Salami was abandoned at my house when his owner moved out suddenly and unexpectedly. I am moving into a new home soon and my new landlord does not allow pets. I would rather him be adopted than left at a shelter where he will certainly be put down. He is a very sweet cat, but takes some time and a few meals to warm up to you, and until he's warmed up to you he can frankly be a bit of a jerk, and is therefore unlikely to be adopted from a kill shelter. He isn't aggressive, but can be reclusive and likes to be pet on his own terms and only by people he likes. He deals with kids well in that he avoids them instead of swatting or biting when he doesn't want attention, but he has not shared a house with other animals so is unknown how he'd take to that situation. Salami's vax status is unknown but he is neutered and does not spray. He prefers wet food and loves some cheese as a treat every now and then.
