Meet Jitterbug! This incredible 2-year-old Chihuahua has more than earned a lifetime of pampering. Jitterbug arrived at SNIPSA right alongside her sister, Junebug, just moments before giving birth. She was a superstar mama, lovingly raising her five healthy babies.
Now that her “five-jivers” are weaned and on their own adoption journeys, Jitterbug is ready to trade her nursery duties for cozy couch cuddles! She is sweet, grateful, and loves a warm lap.
Energy: Cha-cha-cha (Low to medium) After raising her litter, Jitterbug is ready for a short pep and slow tempo.
Cuddles: The Slow Dance (High) She is an expert at the slow dance, curling up right next to you for some cheek-to-cheek action.
Personality: Ballroom, Sweet, & Poised. After all her hard work, she carries herself with the grace of a Ballroom Belle and is eager to please her partner.

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
