My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I am Finnegan, but you can call me Finn. My brother and I were found and picked up by a really big group of ladies while we were in the shelter. I am looking for a family who will help me continue my adventures, so I do not caught and end up back in a shelter…

I am the leader when it comes to my brother and I. I trust easy and if you have snack I will love you so much!

I’m a super smart boy who will learn for snacks or love. My foster momma is my favorite human and I love to snuggle her all the time. I love to talk to people when I get excited because they talk to me when they’re excited! I live with human kids and they’re super fun! They play with me, snuggle me, and share snacks!
My favorite things to do are to run around and roll around in the grass, playing with sticks and I’m learning fetch!

Potty training is going well! I’m still a puppy, so I have some accidents, but I’m getting much better at letting my foster family know I need to go outside.

Kennel training is the same thing. I go into our puppy pen no problem, but I really want to be around my humans, so I cry a little bit. Practice makes perfect, and we are going to continue to practice taking naps and rests in the kennel during the day!
I cannot wait to meet my forever family and continue to become the best boy ever!

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!

Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
