This gorgeous blue/white pittie mix is about 2 years old and full of energy and fun. Her ideal home will love to go on adventures and hiking with her by their side!
Fiona is VERY dog friendly and she loves to romp around the play yard with lots of dog friends (videos coming soon)!!!! She is definitely a staff favorite.
Fame loves people and is social. She was a bit shy when she first came to the boarding facility (she was found as a stray), but has since warmed up beautifully. She is super smart and learned kennel routine fast......watch the videos with her kennel tech teaching her boundary training!!!
Since Fiona is currently in boarding, she is available to foster OR foster-to-adopt. Fiona Looks at her handler for permission and expectations. She does pull on the leash when she goes for walks so she will need leash work, but overall she is wonderful and is a great pup!
She is a little pushy around her food with other dogs so she would probably do best being fed in her crate or in another room if a dog is around (she doesn't growl but will posture herself in front of her food to tell them that it is hers and that she'd prefer her space while eating). She DOES share treats/water bowl nicely around the other pups! We think that the boarding environment can also be stressful so we see this all the time and if homed with another pup I'm sure she'd get used to having her friend near.

Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives.
They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!

Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes!
