My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snickers is every bit as sweet as the candy he's named for and, at times, he's just as nutty too! This playful boy likes to run, pounce and tumble as he explores everything around him!

He loves to snuggle with his brothers, sister and mom, and can be a little shy at times, especially if he doesn't have one of them nearby. They are like a security blanket of sorts for him, probably because he was found abandoned and alone and was adopted into their litter right after he was born.

He is a true part of their family now, so much so that one condition of his adoption is that he cannot be adopted alone; he has to be adopted with one of his family members Jelly Bean. He needs him and they are a bonded pair.

Snickers is the perfect blend of playful and sweet. He is clever. He's also a pro at using his litter box and hasn't had any accidents.

In a nutshell, this handsome boy pretty much has it all. Now all he needs is YOU!

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit cat and dog rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of cats and dogs from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption to match them to their purrfect family by having them in foster homes so that we can assess their behaviors, how they decompress in a home, and find out more about their unique personalities.

We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.

Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5-year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program.

Together, we can be heroes.

*Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $25
