What’s cuter than a pocket sized bulldog? A swimming pocket sized bulldog!! This little nugget has such a love for water— she learned all on her own!! She’s so courageous and adventurous for a tiny little thing— completely fearless!
Little Petunia is a sassy, spunky little one. It can take a few minutes for her to warm up to you, but once she does she is full of cuddles! You will forever be greeted with a joyous trot and she will be requesting pets! Petunia loves people, kids and dogs. She communicates with her mouth by giving love nibbles, so you’ll want to be prepared for that.
Petunia loves to play with other dogs and is full of energy! She will need a dog that can keep up with her. She’s so short and stubby that her play mainly consists of headbutts and ankle biting, but it’s all play. She plays hard, naps harder, then repeat.
She is a guaranteed good time and will make you laugh on the daily. Plus, she’s so stinkin’ adorable— everyone will want to say hello!

The adoption fee is $650 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordatella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay, flea prevention, 6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, a microchip with an instant lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

In addition to a fully vetted furbaby, you also receive many other additional perks such as a 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.), a free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus incredibly low pricing for future sessions, a free extra month Barkbox with sign up, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our FB Adopter group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff.
The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
