They say smiling is contagious. Let me tell ya-- prep your cheeks because you are not safe from Kenny D! 😁 See how awesome he is here— https://youtu.be/9lR-Xpu66s0
This sweet boy is estimated at around 3 years old and a whopping 55 lbs of pure joy! He is a true champ and lover of life, people, kiddos, and dogs! It’s difficult to see in his photos, but he has the most beautiful, dark, rich chocolate fur that make his dazzling brown eyes pup in the sun!
Kenny is being fostered in Olympia, WA and ready to meet you!!
Kenny D was abandoned at a boarding facility by his owner and we can't understand why-- he's such a great dog! Kenny has so much personality and is always wearing the biggest smile on his face. He enjoys anything that he does as long as he's with you- from running in a backyard, going on a car ride, taking a walk to show off his leash manners, or just hanging out on the couch or bed. He's your guy-- up for it all! He loves meeting new people and playing with kids. He has so much fun with dogs-- he lives with little and big dogs currently, but loves to play and would do best with doggos of similar size that also love to play! He is fostered with a cat, but is too interested for comfort and is always getting in trouble for not controlling his chase impulses. A home without cats would be ideal, though his bunny foster sibling doesn't catch his attention at all!
Kenny D has excellent house manners and is a very well behaved and quiet pup in his crate. He is potty trained so woohoo for not having to worry about cleaning messes. Kenny is gentle taking treats, loves toys and balls-- they make him jump in excitement and he's always ready for a game of fetch. He has the fetch part down, giving the ball back may take some belly rubs or extra coaxing! That's okay though because he doesn't mind sharing toys and will let you take them directly from his mouth with ease...maybe just a little tug to that ease. He's a smart boy with great training potential and already knows basic things such as sit and paw. He's also a car riding pro-- open the car door and he's in and ready to go wherever the road may lead...as long as it's with you!

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
