My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rose 🌼 — our very own Golden Girl with a heart as warm as her fluffy coat.

At 10 years young, this sweet and adorable golden Pomeranian is proof that age only adds sparkle. Rose is gentle, loving, and endlessly kind—always ready to brighten your day with soft snuggles and quiet companionship.

Rose’s story is a tender one. She was deeply loved by her mom, but when her mom had to move into an assisted care facility, she heartbreakingly couldn’t bring Rose along. Thankfully, Rose found her way to our rescue, where we promised to honor the love she’s always known and help her find the next chapter she deserves.

This little lady has lived with children and other dogs and gets along beautifully—she truly is as sweet as can be. Rose is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, housebroken, and an absolute dream in the home. She’s affectionate, calm, and happiest when she’s close to her people, soaking up love and giving it right back tenfold.

And here’s the golden truth: small breeds often have longer lifespans, and Rose still has so much love left to give. She’s ready to live out her golden years with a family who will cherish her, honor the love of her previous mom, and give her the comfort, care, and devotion she’s always known.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a gentle soul, and a true Golden Girl to share your heart and home with, Rose is waiting—soft paws, bright eyes, and all the love in the world. 💛

Additional adoption info

A home check may be performed when taking the pet home. This is up to the discretion of the rescue founder and may be performed upon her decision. This step will ensure our animals are going into the best possible homes and will never be treated as less than a best friend and companion ever again. We are dedicated to the best possible fit for each animal that comes into our care.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We are 100% foster and volunteer run. Therefore, the first step in meeting one of our adoptable pets will be to submit an adoption application by following the link posted above to either our website or directly to our adoption application. Once an adoption application has been approved, we can set up a meet and greet with the applicant and the animal the applicant is interested in. Please allow 24-72 business hours to receive an answer back about your application, as all of our volunteers and fosters have additional jobs outside of the rescue and use their spare time to provide care to these animals in our program.

Adoption events can also be found posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages located under the name "Happy Tails Canine Rescue". These events are open to the public and do not require an adoption application in advance to meet any of our pets that will be attending.
