Meet Riley, she’s a 3 year old Mini Aussie/Standard Aussie mix at 35 lbs She’s very sweet - somewhat shy with new people. Comes out of her shell and is quite fun. She LOVES dogs - does best in a home with a medium to large dog to play with. Runs and plays with all sizes. She’s house broken. Not a fan of brushing, but hasn’t been one that needs much grooming - doesn’t shed a lot. Wouldn't do well in a home of a lot of kid traffic/guests. Best home goes on hikes, dog parks, and/or has a yard for her to romp with dog friends.

Sunny Day Acres was founded by Jennifer Gray. She is a trainer with 29 years experience. She specializes in taking in homeless, abandoned, and mistreated dogs, training them, and getting them ready for homes. In addition to our rescue efforts for the dogs, Sunny Day Acres, a 501c3 non-profit organization, has a farm animal sanctuary of other animals for adoption, and also offers boarding, and training classes in behavior/socialization, obedience, agility, search & rescue, and private lessons as well!
