My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lenny the Fireplace Supervisor
7-year-old • Neutered male • Chihuahua/Dachshund mix • Certified Cozy Professional

Lenny has one very important job in life: monitoring fireplaces, space heaters, sunny windows, and any blanket that looks even remotely warm. And frankly? He takes this role very seriously.

This festive little gentleman was owner surrendered through absolutely no fault of his own—his previous owner had to go to the hospital and sadly won’t be able to return home. Lenny didn’t do anything wrong; he simply needs a new place to hang his tiny stocking and supervise your winter vibes.

About Lenny:
-Senior chi/dach mix with short legs, big ears, and wise little eyes
-Calm, polite, and very into peaceful holiday living
-Loves warmth, soft beds, and quietly judging household activity
-Gives strong “sit by the fire with cocoa” energy
-Low drama, high coziness, excellent listener

Holiday Bonus Features:
-Makes an excellent lap ornament
-Will happily supervise gift wrapping
-Likely to snooze through most of Christmas dinner
-Brings strong “I don’t need toys, I need love” vibes

Lenny is the kind of dog who doesn’t need chaos—he just wants a safe home, a warm spot, and someone to love him for the rest of his golden years. If you’re looking for a calm companion to share quiet nights and holiday magic, Lenny the Fireplace Supervisor is ready to clock in.

Adopt Lenny. Give a senior dog the Christmas miracle he deserves.

Lenny is available for adoption now! His adoption fee has been waived!
