My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mookie’s bio:
As MLB teams host their winter meetings, we are introducing a new all star….Now stepping up for adoption, Mookie! Named after Dodgers star player Mookie Betts, Mookie was found by a softball field. She showed off her speed and agility by giving rescuers the run at least an hour.

Mookie is a true MVP. She’s playful yet super well-behaved for a kitten. Balls? She’s chasing them down. Bug in the air? She’s willing to dive and make the catch. Though she shines on the diamond, she has some swimming skills too. For some reason, Mookie has an obsession with water and plays with her water bowl/fountain as if it’s her swimming pool.

Mookie is also a team player! She is super affectionate towards her foster brothers and shows of her loud purr any time they give her cuddles or groom her. She will thrive in a home with other friendly cats. As she gets older, Mookie is learning that her fans (humans) are also important to her success. Each day she becomes a bit more cuddly. She enjoys sleeping on the couch with her foster moms or getting a good belly rub.

Ready to add this all-rounder to your lineup? Apply to adopt Mookie! Mookie is about 7 months old, spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped and tested FIV/FeLV negative.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adopting a cat is a big responsibility and commitment, but it's also one of the biggest acts you can ever do for an animal in need.

Each and every cat in our care has their own story and background. They are all fully vetted, fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative (unless otherwise specified). Because of this, our adoption fee is $95 for one cat over 1-year-old or $155 for 2 and $110 for one cat under 1-year-old or $195 for 2.

Our approval process includes a vet reference (personal reference if you've not had a vet in the last 5 years), virtual home tour, and landlord approval should you be a renter.

The completion of an application does not guarantee approval for adoption.
