This is Zoey. She is a fully vaccinated and spayed cat. Roughly 2 years old. My boyfriend and I adopted her about 4 months ago, hoping she would be the best new addition to our home. Unfortunately, since we've had her, we just haven't meshed. It started out great, she would always want to be around us and our other animals. But the last 2-3 months she only wants to be by herself and won't let anyone near her. This started when she learned how to use our dog door and she would freely come and go as she pleased. One night she got into a cat fight and had gotten a wound on her back, and with her not letting anyone close to her, we couldn't clean it or grab her to bring her to the vet. The wound has thankfully healed since then and didn't get infected. But it made my boyfriend and I realize, that sadly, we don't think this is going to work out for any of us. So, we are hoping that there is someone else or another family that would be a better fit for Zoey...
