My name is Remy!

Remy would thrive in a home with older children or empty nesters. Apart from the breed/coat specific grooming needs, he is an exceptionally low maintenance dog. No high prey drive, very quiet, sleeps at night and regular naps, rarely has an indoor accident. Remy is no danger to small children. Quite the opposite; Remy is very comfortable being approached and pet by even crawling infants. I said he would be better with older children because he is not very keen on playing. He is a very independent dog, who is happy to be a lounge mate rather than a play mate. If you are looking for a dog to exhaust the kids or play some tug of war, Remy is not what you are looking for. He is a sharp, beautiful lounge companion who enjoys a good petting, and a chew treat to gnaw on while you read or do homework. He is sharp and well behaved, with very few accidents indoors. He is very quiet, which is uncommon for his breed. Definitely a velcro dog who will stick to one or two people and be shy to others.
