Hi, I'm Lisa!
I’m a 6-month-old pup weighing about 32 pounds, and I’ve already had quite the adventure in my life thus far. I was found all alone wandering the streets of Georgia, and now I’m living my best life up in Illinois, hoping to find a forever family to call my own.
I’m a sweet, playful girl who loves nothing more than to be with her favorite humans. I also LOVE to play with other dogs and have gotten along with everyone I've met. Since the canine friend I live with in foster is 8 years old and can't quite play all day anymore, I'm also very content to settle down and get to work on a bone.
I’m proud to say I’m already crate trained and house trained, so I know how to be a polite house pup too! I sleep through the night in my kennel without a peep and have no problem spending some time in there throughout the day. I’m also steadily working on building my confidence, and I've been told I’m doing great with gentle encouragement, routine, and love. My foster parents say they're not sure what I might have had to go through in my short life thus far, but I’m learning quickly that my new world is a pretty great, safe place!
If you’re looking for a loving, goofy puppy who’s ready to snuggle, play, and build confidence by your side, I might just be the perfect newest addition to your family.
For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you.
I hope to meet you soon!
All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
