My name is Budgie!

I found Budgie standing in the middle of a country road looking around as if she was waiting for someone. I stopped to give her water and get her to the side of the road and she jumped in my car. That was in June of this year. The shelter refused to take her so I did the best I could to keep her fed and safe. She was recently spayed and microchipped. She also has her rabies and 1st distemper/parvo shot. I will work on getting her second as I wait for a new home for her. She is a working dog who either needs to hunt or can be with someone who will exercise her at the level she needs. She is super friendly, sweet and smart. She loves going for rides in the car. I want to re-home her with someone who while they may train her to hunt, will treat her like a cherished family dog and not lock her up in some tiny kennel until they need her. She may have some training but I don't know. She is purebred and wants to sniff stuff out constantly.
