Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bear, an 8-month-old terrier mix who is currently thriving in one of our foster partner homes down South.
At just 28 pounds, Bear is the perfect blend of petite and full of personality. She has settled beautifully into foster life — she adores her toys, seeks out soft places to nap, and can often be found snuggled up with the other dogs in the home. Playful and bright, Bear is the kind of pup who notices everything around her. She can be a little timid when meeting new people or entering new situations, but give her a moment (and maybe a toy), and she’s quick to warm up.
Bear’s journey started in Tennessee, where she was picked up as a stray before being surrendered to our rescue partner. Despite that uncertain beginning, she has blossomed into a sweet, gentle, and affectionate young dog who is ready for a forever family of her own.
She has been spayed, is up to date on care, and has no known health concerns. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has also spent time around children, showing a friendly demeanor. Because she adapts well to different environments, Bear would do wonderfully as someone’s one-and-only companion or as part of a lively household with other pets — as long as they’re willing to share their toys!
If you’re looking for a happy, loving, toy-obsessed companion who brings both gentleness and playful energy into a home, Bear is ready to meet you.
