Introducing the prettiest tri"pawd" in our Canine Clubhouse: Sundae! 🍨
This gorgeous girl is an absolute trooper. She came to us after being picked up as a stray with a deep, badly-healed fracture in her rear right leg, which cause significant pain whenever she tried to walk. It was determined by our veterinary team that it would be in her best interest and health to have the leg amputated, and now this gal is pain-free, romping around and letting absolutely nothing slow her down! ❤
We aren't exaggerating when we say that 2-year-old Sundae is as sweet as her name -- her docile and loving nature makes her an absolute treasure to be around. She takes treats from visitors so gently, loves to stick close to you in the yard for pets and attention, and walks wonderfully on the leash. She's always so delighted whenever anybody comes along to dote on her, her tail wagging and ears going up and down in excitement. Despite all the bad hands she's been dealt in life so far, one would never guess when they meet her. Sundae knows and gives nothing but love, and is an incredible example of resilience and strength. 💖
Due to her tougher past, Sundae would most likely appreciate a home where she can be the only dog to receive all of your affection. We have not yet seen how she feels about cats, and will be happy to discuss properly introducing the two if you have a feline friend in the house. 🐾
