My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Luna! She shines bright as a star, ready and eager to meet new people and try new things! This young lady hasn`t let anything keep her down and continues to be a strong, smart and excitable girl. Luna is a total sweetie who loves to play tug of war and can`t live without her puzzle toys.

This wonderful pup is incredibly loyal, Luna loves companionship, even more than her puzzle feeders! She is eager to share her love and energy with anyone that she meets. When she is all tuckered out from her puzzles and walks, Luna likes to kick back for some pets and cuddles.

She enjoys consistency and will do her best with someone that has a set schedule or works remotely. Luna catches onto things quick, but with her high energy puppy mind, she will need guidance to help her continue to learn skills as she grows and matures. Luna enjoys going for lots of walks and having backyard space to play in, so a detached home would be best for her! Our adoptions team is happy to assist and answer any questions about her!

Luna can`t wait to share her vibrant energy with her forever family, come meet her today!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
