Pretzel arrived at one of our shelter partners in rural Texas in November when she was wandering, underweight and scared, on the side of a busy road with her sister. Fortunately, a good Samaritan found them in the nick of time, and now Pretzel is warm, well fed, and vetted at Heartland.
Perfectly petite Pretzel is a sweet young thing, she has enjoyed soaking in all the affection and positive reinforcement she's receiving from new people! She does great in playgroups with other dogs, and is calm and gentle. She walks very well on a leash and is a good listener and VERY treat motivated, which make training so simple. She's learning basic commands like 'sit' very quickly.
Our Texas partners said their favorite characteristics were that Pretzel is silly, sweet, and a dog who loves attention and getting pets. We are still getting to know this little snack, but so far, we feel the same!
Pretzel is a perfect medium size and a young girl who will thrive in an environment where she can get lots of positive learning experiences and love. Will she add just the right twist to your family? Come meet her and see!
Pretzel’s adoption fee is $300. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
