We are calling this sweet little guy Sam. He is eight months old and was on an adventure exploring Austell when he made his way to the shelter on 12/13/2025. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. Sam is good on leash and gentle when accepting treats. obedient. He is eagerly waiting to meet his forever FAMILY.
Sam weighs 38 lbs. and is UTD on vaccines. He will be neutered and microchipped when adopted. He has tested negative for heartworms. Sam has a few skin issues which might be allergy related, but this would have to be determined by a veterinarian. Please stop by to meet this handsome guy in run 316, his ID # is 15674.

Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
