Leo came into our family after being rescued from a home where he experienced abuse. Because of that, he can be anxious and does best with calm, gentle care and patient people who understand that trust takes time. Once he feels safe, he is very loving and people-oriented. He has spent his life around people more than other animals and truly thrives on human companionship, attention, and reassurance.
Unfortunately, due to a change in circumstances, my mother is no longer able to keep him. She is older and moving into a new living situation where she cannot bring him with her. This decision was made with his best interest in mind, and we are committed to finding him a home where he will feel safe, secure, and deeply loved.
He would do best in a quiet, stable home with someone who can give him plenty of one-on-one attention. He may not be a good fit for a household with many dogs, as he has limited experience around other animals.
