I have had Annie for about 3 years now and she just had her birthday in November where she turned 10.
Annie is sweet and affectionate. She loves to sit with me, rub her head on me, and lick me. I have another cat that, majority of the time, she also enjoys licking and sitting with.
I have also had my other cat for 2 years now and Annie was always loving on her for the first year, but after her 10th birthday she started to not want to be around her and go as far as pouncing in her when she isn’t in the mood to play but the cat still tries anyways. This happens on average twice a week.
Additionally, my significant other’s allergies have gotten out of hand. They were tolerable at first with just some sniffles, but has now progressed to a frustrating state.
Along with other personal life changes and my desire to have Annie in a home that supports her happiness, I’ve come to the difficult decision to rehome her.
