My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Weebles, the sweetest cat at the shelter. Known for his friendly and cuddly nature, Weebles is a beacon of loyalty and bravery. Despite his wobbly stance, he navigates life with remarkable spirit, always ready to offer comfort with his soothing purrs. Weebles forms deep bonds with those he meets, making him a wonderful companion. If you`re looking for a loyal friend to share warm, cozy moments with, Weebles is your perfect match. His brave heart and loving nature make him the ideal addition to any home.

Weebles has been diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). CH is a neurological disorder that occurs when the cerebellum, the part of the brain which controls fine motor skills and coordination, is not fully developed. Hence the nickname `Wobbly Cat Syndrome.` Cats with CH may fall over or appear to struggle getting around and generally do best in homes with minimal stairs and prefer carpeting instead of hard flooring to prevent possible injuries. While there is no cure for CH, it is not painful and these animals can lead long, happy lives with their new families, still offering plenty of affection and often being very playful and curious of the fast-moving world around them!
