My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet this sweet, playful boy named Bradley!

This handsome pup is approximately 1 year old and sports a striking salt-and-pepper coat with unique patterns that make him truly one of a kind. He’s a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, children, and just about anyone he meets—he’s always ready to say hello with a wagging tail.

He enjoys learning and practicing basic commands like sit and lay down, and his playful side really shines when he prances around the yard like a little reindeer during playtime. He has the stamina for long walks and can confidently play with larger dogs thanks to his solid build, yet he’s gentle and respectful enough to play nicely with smaller pups too.

While he prefers not to have a crate closed, he’s perfectly comfortable resting inside one when he chooses. He’s mostly potty trained and currently uses a belly band at night as a preventative while adjusting to a new environment. Food is one of his great loves—he absolutely adores treats and dinnertime and is relaxed eating around other dogs, even sharing or swapping bowls without issue.

Above all, this boy is incredibly affectionate. He loves cuddles, reassurance kisses, and hugs, and thrives on companionship. With his loving nature and adaptable personality, he would make a truly wonderful addition to a lucky forever home. 🐾

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Whether you are interested in a specific dog or would like us to recommend a dog that fits you best, you can expect the following adoption process:

1. The first step in the adoption process is to complete an Application. http://rescueachi.com/adoption-application/ We will review your application and verify the information upon receiving it. If you rent your home, your landlord will be contacted for approval so it is important to make sure to include your landlord’s name and number on the application.

2. Once your application is approved, we will make arrangements for you to meet the dog in person. This interview is usually arranged by the dog’s foster family and may take place at your home or mutual location. We encourage everyone who lives in the household, especially children and other pets to meet and interact with the dog during this interview.

3. CRSD reserves the right to visit your home for an inspection during the adoption process.

4. Once you are approved, you will be asked to sign a legally binding Adoption Contract and pay an adoption fee.

Adoption Fees
Because we are an all-volunteer group, 100% of all adoption fees are used to cover medical expenses for the dogs in our rescue. Medical treatments include general health exams, dogs spay/neuter surgery, dental work, vaccinations, flea preventative medicals, microchip and microchip registration.

Any additional donation would be greatly appreciated, and this portion may be tax-deductible. Donations help us to continue to care for these special dogs.

More about this rescue

We are a rescue consisting of an all volunteer organization where all of our dogs are in private homes everyday. We do not have a shelter and our dogs are not kept in cages. Our dogs are from county animals shelters or from previous owners that are no longer able to care for their dog. All of our dogs are started on housebreaking, however, we do not guarantee that they will be housebroken. We offer education on how to housebreak a dog as well as other information on different situations. Every dog is spayed or neutered, current on shots, dewormed, frontline for fleas and ticks. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!!!
