Romeo originally came to the shelter as a stray on 10/25. He was adopted on 11/09 but sadly returned the next day due to developing a URI. He has since been fully treated and is feeling great — now he’s ready for his true forever home!
Romeo lives up to his name. He’s a big, handsome boy with a sweet and affectionate personality. He’s dog-friendly and easy to handle. During play yard walks, he showed good, relaxed body language even when larger, vocal dogs were nearby. He takes treats gently and enjoys spending time with people.
Romeo is ready to love anyone willing to be his Juliet and give him the stable, caring home he deserves.
As with any new pet, we recommend following the 3-3-3 guideline when helping Romeo settle into his new home: 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn the routine, and 3 months to feel fully at home.
