What we know: Came from a litter of 7, was found as strays and brought to the Wolfforth shelter. Pups were taken into the care of Littlefeild Pet Haven where they were vetted.
From the foster: Rowen is the biggest snuggle bug and a total sweetheart. His favorite spot is at your feet. He’s doing well on walks, and will do all his business on leash. He’s doing well with potty training and can almost make it through the night. He goes into his kennel easily when you leave with a treat you set inside and a soft blanket to curl up on. He loves tug-of-war with his foster brother. He proudly takes the stairs at bedtime and settles well in a pen beside the bed. He a smart little guy and picks up on routine very quickly. He’s a good eater and sits when waiting for a treat, and highly treat motivated. Plus, he’s the handsomest boy.

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
