This is truly an amazing, magnificent, exceptional dog! I fell in love with him immediately. You will too! I can’t imagine why the owners have not come looking for him. Bowie is a strong striking name for a strong striking dog. He is a 3yr old 67lb Plott Hound that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/20 as a stray. He’s adventuresome and curious and explored the yard, but then came back to hang out with me. He seeks affection and stays close. He lavishes you with kisses. He comes when he’s called. He sits for treats and takes them gently. He’s easy-going, calm, gentle and very sweet. He is a southern gentleman that could go with you anywhere because of how well mannered he is. He walks right beside you on the leash. Due to his size he would need a yard to run around in, but this love bug would like nothing better than to stretch out beside you on some soft throws indoors being close to his human companions.
