She is a purebred English Labrador that we adopted as a puppy from her breeder. She’s the perfect English lab: smaller stance, blocky head, big otter tail, mellow attitude. She’s primarily an inside dog but does very well when outside for long stretches (no overnights). When inside, she is a Velcro dog; she’ll sleep on any available soft area (she is trained to stay off furniture), and is calm when you want to relax. When she’s outside, the zoomies take over and she wants to be involved in play or meet any family/dog walking by. She’s a happy, friendly dog who is very eager to please and VERY food driven. We are deciding to rehome her because we are cat people and she doesn’t get much attention or any exercise. She’s command-trained and learning to swim but hasn’t been socialized well so she jumps when meeting new people. She loves kids and is very gentle. She is spayed. She showed signs of incontinence six months ago but it has resolved without medication (maybe hormonal).
