Little Jax (a.k.a. Otto) looks mostly like a Scottie/ Cairn Terrier/ Miniature Schnauzer blend with his funny fuzzy little face and scruffy wire coat.
Jax (I also call him Otto – both names seem to fit him!) doesn’t shed so if you are allergic to dogs, he’s perfect for you.
Jax is a darling 1 ½ year old doll face who is friendly, feisty, sweet, clever, and affectionate.
He weighs only about 11 pounds fully grown, so you can carry him everywhere and he can travel with you on a plane easily in a carrier under the seat.
Jax has been loved, healthy, and handled since he was born – he is wonderfully social and is perfect with both men and women and even children. He is gentle and quiet – in fact, I’m not sure if I’ve ever heard him bark.
He’s also great with all the other dogs and kitties, and even with farm animals.
Jax was raised in a loving home with a woman who had severe diabetes. This lovely woman cleaned my vet’s office at night and always took Jax with her – of course, since the woman worked in a vet office, Jax got the best vet care, so he’s definitely a healthy, happy, social little monkey.
But then the saddest thing happened – Jax’s human mama died suddenly of diabetes which left Jax and two other little darlings, Coco Puff and Henry homeless.
Of course, Jax is neutered and up to date on all of his shots. I have his medical records for his new forever family.
He’s also house trained and crate trained, and loves to ride in the car.
I am a firm believer is having potential adopters take a pup home for a “sleepover” to see how your family, your other pets, and your new best buddy all get along. You can always take little Jax home to see how he adapts, and we always take our rascals back if they aren’t a good fit.

We are a small, self-funded group of animal lovers. All of our pets are fostered in private homes, so they are social, outgoing, and healthy little rascals.
I have an application I can email to you, and a contract that says that you will love, cherish and care for your adopted companion animal. If for any reason you can't keep your new buddy, you must return him or her to me.
Of course, the adoption covers all shots, the spay or neuter, and whatever incidentals the rascal needs to be a healthy and happy buddy.

Go meet their pets
Each posting has the contact info for the correct foster, so pls contact the right person. I couldn't have all these rascals at my place, but my fellow-foster mommas are wonderful and they can tell you all about the rascals they are caring for.
I live in Ramona, and if you visit, you can meet my farm animals (I have my own petting zoo!) at the same time. I foster everything from hens to horses, and all of my critters have wonderful personalities and are well socialized with other dogs, cats, farm animals, and children.

More about this rescue
We are a small self-funded group of people who love animals - we consider them gifts to the earth and they deserve love, good health, care, and forever homes.
I rescue and foster dogs and cats, puppies and kittens -- even farm animals. I do this because I love these creatures and do not believe in breeding any animals. As long as these wonderful critters are already here, they deserve the best chance we can give them.
These lovely creatures are God's gifts, and I firmly believe animals are good for us -- imagine the smile a little rascal will put on your face after a rough day at the office or a tough commute home!
