Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Piper 🖤🐾 Piper is a 10-month-old German Shepherd with the sweetest, goofiest personality hiding behind a shy first impression. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she does, her loyalty runs deep and her bond is unshakable. She’s the kind of dog who chooses her people and loves them with her whole heart.
Piper would do best in a home with another friendly, confident dog to help guide her and give her confidence as she learns the world around her. She’s crate trained, housebroken, and very intelligent. She picks things up quickly but will thrive with a family willing to invest a little extra time, structure, and positive reinforcement training.
Piper is spayed and up to date on vaccinations, and with patience, consistency, and love, she will grow into an incredibly devoted companion — the kind that makes every bit of effort feel completely worth it. 🤍🐾
RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to:

A potential adopter will submit an application. A vet reference is very helpful and will speed the adoption process along. Once approved, a phone interview will be conducted and the adopter will sign a contract. Transport will then be scheduled to bring the new pet home.
