Jax is a 7-month-old buff orange kitten with a gentle soul. He was rescued from the streets of Paterson, NJ, where he was found starving and alone in July 2025. Understandably, he can be shy when meeting new people, the world has not been very kind to him so far.
With time and patience, Jax does come out of his shell pretty quickly. After a few days, he starts to relax and feel safe in his space. He is fully holdable and handleable, but he’ll need an adopter who understands that he might be spooked on the meet and greet. Jax would love to be adopted with one (or more!) of his 3 siblings.
Jax is currently being fostered in Prospect Park, NJ, and is looking for a forever home where he can grow up knowing safety and kindness.
Jax is neutered, vaccinated, tested for FIV/FELV and microchipped. Jax was FIV positive, but he is negative for FELV. Don’t worry, he can safely be with other cats and kittens! Please consider him today!
