Freya and her sister Frida were found by a busy freeway with their mother Fiona by a Good Samaritan who saved their lives. She looked for their home but after 2 weeks when no one claimed them, she surrendered them to our rescue.
Freya is very loving and super adorable. She is quiet and patient, and is crate trained and housebroken.
Freya lives with her foster brother Buster (see picture), and four kitty foster siblings.
She is current on all her shots. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and kept on deworming schedule, and heartworm and flea preventative.
She is currently being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home.
Freya's adoption fee includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, GPS tracker, Harness, leash and a high quality nylon Martingale collar.

Yards, if any, must be adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.
Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them.
Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued from our high kill shelters, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and the shelters as possible. You will be contacted by the case manager of the pet for an initial chat, discuss the pet with full transparency

Meet the Pet
For out of town pets, you and foster parents will coordinate Facetime or whatsapp or other video chat to meet the pet.

Home Check
If you wish to adopt the pet after meeting him/her, then we complete processing your application, complete a virtual home check with him.

Sign Adoption Contract
Once approved, you will receive a contract in the email.

Each day hundreds of healthy, adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized in the kill-shelters of America. In Houston itself, we have the largest population of strays and our shelters are full with strays and abandoned animals including those surrendered by their owners because of reasons such as unwillingness to take care of them, pregnancy, divorce, loss of job, loss of home, prison intake, loss of compassion, empathy, you name it. Add to this, are abandoned pets on the side of the street by owners. Our mission is to give these puppies another chance at love and life. If every person will stop buying from breeders and adopt a shelter pet and spay and neuter them, we will be able to eradicate our euthanasia problem.
