This helps Cody's Friends Rescue with pet care costs.
Flurry is a 3 month old Pyrenees mix with the softest heart and the gentlest soul. He spent the first three months of his life out on quiet country land, so the world indoors is still new and sometimes a little confusing. But he is trying. Every single day. Now safe in a foster home, Flurry is learning what it means to be an inside dog. He hesitates when it’s time to go outside, not because he’s stubborn, but because he’s fearful of being left there. For this reason, Flurry will need to remain an inside dog and should only go outside for potty breaks with his human by his side. With reassurance and consistency, he’s beginning to understand that love doesn’t disappear. Living alongside his foster family’s pack of six dogs, Flurry is learning how to socialize, how to play, and even how to find his voice. He takes his cues from other dogs and gains confidence from their presence, which is why he will do best in a home with another friendly pup to help show him the ropes. Flurry’s nature is incredibly sweet and kind. He wants nothing more than to cuddle with his human or curl up with his foster siblings and stay there all day. He is a true shadow puppy who just wants to know he’s safe. Like any puppy, Flurry is still learning. He does chew, is working on potty training, and is learning to be comfortable in his kennel for short periods of time. His foster allows him on the furniture and lets him sleep in the bed, so patience will be needed if your home has different rules as he gently relearns boundaries. Flurry has received two rounds of puppy vaccinations and is not neutered yet due to his age. Flurry is looking for a patient, loving family who will move at his pace and allow him to stay close as he learns that this is his home and he’s finally safe. Cats: unknown. If you’re willing to lead with kindness and give a timid puppy the time he needs, Flurry will reward you with quiet devotion and a heart full of love.
Cody's adopts dogs in the greater DFW area and does not adopt puppies under the age of 6 months into apartment homes.
