Snagglepuss is a 9-year-old Chihuahua with a truly one-of-a-kind grin. How did she manage both an overbite and an underbite at the same time? Science may never know but we are OBSESSED!! This is very much a “face only a mother could love,” and lucky for Snagglepuss, we love it a lot.
What her teeth lack in alignment, she more than makes up for in personality. Snagglepuss is the ultimate velcro dog: cuddly, confident, and completely fearless. Cats? Cool. Dogs? Fine. Pigs? Whatever. Humans? Already attached to you. Her favorite place in the world is burrowed under the blankets, pressed right up against her person like a tiny heated loaf. Her favorite things in the world is when you give her kisses all over her place and tell her how pretty she is.
She is mostly housetrained… unless there’s a puppy pad involved. She’s not an expert, but she truly does try her best.
If you’re looking for a low-to-the-ground cuddle bug with a hilarious smile, zero fear, and maximum devotion- Snagglepuss is ready to crawl under the covers and into your heart.

Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. We will discuss additional details with potential adopters once we have an application on file.
For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. We are located in an overpopulated area surrounded by high-kill shelters.
Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel. Each pet is spayed/neutered, receives age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, heartworm test (6 months and older) microchipped and flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not breed or DNA test.***
