Meet Little Roxy, A True Survivor
Little Roxy was found beside her deceased brother, both most likely victims of a car accident. Roxy arrived at the shelter with a broken leg, scared and in pain — yet even then, she showed nothing but sweetness and resilience.
Mountains were moved and thanks to an incredibly kind Good Samaritan, Len, Roxy was given a second chance. Len generously covered the cost of her surgery and aftercare, making it possible for her to receive the medical help she desperately needed.
Foster Tina did not hesitate a second and took Roxy under her wing!
And now, we are so happy to say — Roxy is officially a MAD dog!
Roxy is expected to make a full recovery, and so far she has been an immaculate patient — gentle, patient, and cooperative every step of the way. She truly is a little gem.
Once she’s healed, Roxy will begin her search for a forever home, and we can’t wait to share more updates as she continues to blossom. She is located in CA and reasonable transport is available.
Stay tuned for more on this brave girl — the best chapters of her life are just beginning.

We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each dog is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.
The basic information that we have available is in our posting, but sometimes fosters will post updates on the MAD Rescue Facebook page as well, https://www.facebook.com/groups/malinoisanddutchshepherdrescueinc.
If you would like to further inquire on this animal, please fill out this application. Applications that are completed in our process and being considered as a match will speak to the foster home to gain more information about our adoptable dog.
