My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

URGENT — Tyler Needs a Foster or Foster-to-Adopt Home ASAP! Tyler is in Brick, NJ!
Meet Tyler — The Happy, Wiggle-Butt Pup with a Big Heart & Busy Paws!

Tyler is a 3–4 month old Border Collie / Australian Cattle Dog mix who is bursting with love, brains, and lots of puppy energy. This sweet boy is looking urgently for a foster or foster-to-adopt home where he can keep learning, playing, and being his joyful self.

Why Everyone Loves Tyler:
• Loves kids, adults, seniors — basically all people
• Great with dogs of all sizes (plays beautifully with a 75-lb Pit Bull!)
• Minimal barking
• No resource guarding
• Excellent in the crate — sleeps through the night quietly
• Hasn’t had a single accident in his foster home in 2 weeks!
• Calm and quiet in the car

Tyler’s Favorite Things:
Playing outside (especially in the snow!)
Toys — especially ones that look like shoes
Treats (very food motivated!)
Running, exploring, jumping, and playing
Affection — he loves pets and attention, even if he’s a wiggly cuddlebug

Smart Boy Alert!
Tyler is already learning sit, stay, and leave it. He’s eager to learn, easy to redirect, and thrives with guidance and consistency. Typical puppy “bad habits” include chewing shoes and houseplants — nothing love, training, and supervision won’t fix.

One Little Fear:
Tyler is nervous about the sound of passing cars, so leash walks on busy streets are a work in progress. He walks great in the yard, and a fenced yard would be ideal for him to safely burn off energy.

Ideal Home for Tyler:
Active family or person
Kids welcome
Other dogs are a plus (but not required)
Fenced yard strongly preferred
Someone willing to teach, guide, and engage his brilliant herding-dog brain

Tyler is the kind of pup who wants to work, learn, and be part of a family. With the right foster or foster-to-adopt home, he’s going to be an absolutely incredible companion.

If you can foster or foster-to-adopt Tyler, please apply ASAP:

Go meet their pets

Our rescues are with fosters on the east coast. The location in which the foster resides should be listed with each profile.

We are setting up some adoption events now, but are free for private meet and greets if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets!

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
