Meet Gizmo!
Gizmo is an 8-year-old Cocker Spaniel (possibly a mix) who is going through a big and very sad change. He was surrendered to our rescue after his beloved owner was admitted to the VA hospital. Gizmo was deeply bonded to his person and went everywhere with him, so it’s no surprise that he’s feeling a bit confused as he adjusts to a whole new world.
Despite everything, Gizmo remains a very friendly, curious boy. He does well with other dogs and cats and has lived with children in the past. Given his age and the recent upheaval in his life, he would likely be happiest in a calmer home without young children, where he can settle in at his own pace and feel secure again.
Gizmo will be neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He’s a sweet senior who just wants stability, love, and a soft place to land. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who will appreciate the simple things and give you his whole heart, Gizmo may be your perfect match.
