Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Precious! She's a six-year-old, 18.2 lb. Chiweenie looking for a forever family. Sadly, her owner passed away earlier this year. Precious is spayed current on vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. She's crate trained and house trained. Precious would do well with older children and is getting along well with the resident dogs in her foster home. Precious loves walks, snuggles and cuddles. She rides well in the car and always ready for an adventure. She will steal your spot on the couch! Precious is ready for a loving forever home.

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period. Our Purpose is:

To rescue adoptable dogs and puppies from animal shelters and animal control facilities
