We found Tyr in a parking lot in the middle of the night. He ran right up to us, purring, and wanting pets. He had a few scrapes on his nose and on his back, but other than than he seemed fine. It was very cold and we love animals, so we took him home.Tyr hopped right into the car and rode home with us just purring.
When we got home, we knew we needed to isolate him until we could get him to the vet. He did well with this. We would go and hang out with him and pet him and play. He ate well, used the litter box immediately, seemed to accommodate quickly. We took him to the Vet and they did not find a chip. He was estimated to be around 1 years old, maybe a little younger. He got his shots (along with rabies shot) and he was also de-wormed.
We slowly introduced him to our 2 cats and he did not get along with them. He would be a great cat for someone who doesn't have any other cats or dogs. He is the sweetest boy, but it just isn't going to work out for us.
